The international scientific conference “WOOD – SCIENCE – ECONOMY. Sustainable forestry and forests – opportunities and constraints under climate change”
A registration is now open for the 4th international scientific conference “WOOD – SCIENCE – ECONOMY. Sustainable forestry and forests – opportunities and constraints under climate change”, which will be held on 14-16 September 2022 in Poznań at the fairgrounds of MTP Poznań Expo.
The organisers of the event are Łukasiewicz – Poznań Institute of Technology and Poznań University of Life Sciences.
The partners of the conference are: DREMA Fair and Poznań Society for the Advancement of Arts and Sciences.
The event is affiliated with the European Forest Institute (EFI).
Keynote speakers of the conference are:
- Alan Crivellaro, PhD, Department of Geography, University of Cambridge, United Kingdom
- Henrik Hartmann, Dr. (Habil.), Department of Biogeochemical Processes at the Max Planck Institute for Biogeochemistry, Jena, Germany
The aim of the conference is to present the results of the latest research in the field of wood, forestry and related disciplines, with particular emphasis on research with high potential for practical application in the economy, as well as to exchange knowledge and experience of contemporary challenges for wood-based industries in an international group of experts.
